FavoritesGH is a lightweight Grasshopper plugin that adds a “Favorites” section directly into the Grasshopper File menu, right beneath “Recent Files.”

Grasshopper already gives you quick access to recently opened files, but there’s no built-in way to pin your go-to definitions - the ones you return to again and again. FavoritesGH fills that gap.

  • A new Favorites entry appears under “Recent Files,” folding out to show your saved definitions.
• One-Click Access
  • Open a favorite instantly, or activate an already-open definition if it’s in your session.
• Add from Current / Browse
  • Add the current definition (prompting you to save first if unsaved) or pick one from disk.
• Manage Window
  • Built-in manager to reorder or remove favorites, with labels and full file paths shown.
• Human-Readable JSON
  • Favorites are stored in a simple, formatted JSON file in your %AppData%\FavoritesGH folder.
