Flow is a Rhino & Grasshopper plug-in designed to support early-stage analysis of crowd movement and evacuation behavior directly within the design environment.
The plug-in includes two dedicated solvers:
Routine Behavior Solver - for simulating everyday pedestrian movement and space usage.
Evacuation Solver – for analyzing emergency egress scenarios and evacuation performance.
Flow is intended to help designers and engineers gain rapid insight, compare design options, and identify potential circulation or evacuation issues before geometry and layouts are finalized.
The tool is suggested for concept and schematic design workflows, enabling fast iteration and visual feedback without the complexity of full compliance-grade simulation software.
