KOPAA Truss Generator is a parametric roof truss component for Grasshopper by KOPAA.
TRUSS TYPES:
- PK — parallel chord truss
- KO1 — symmetric pitched truss
- KO2 — mono-pitched truss
- KO3 — inclined parallel chord
- KO4 — curved bottom chord
GRID TYPES:
- 0 — Pratt (N-truss)
- 1 — Howe
- 2 — Warren
- 3 — Warren with verticals
FEATURES:
- Custom panel size input (e.g. 3*1500 2*2000)
- Ridge offset control
- Outputs node names, member names and types
- Outputs support nodes for structural analysis
- Compatible with Karamba3D and other structural plugins
INPUTS: start/end points, span, height, truss type, grid type, ridge, panel count, custom panel sizes
OUTPUTS: top/bottom beams, panels, grid members, chord members, truss points, lines, plane, node/member labels, support nodes
