NeosAcoustic is a simple plugin that utilizes a personal computer's microphone to capture audio data. It converts the captured, normalized audio data into sound pressure level (SPL) (requires calibration of microphone sensitivity). It can also record data in real-time for use as a source for audio visualization. Similar to the Sound Capture component in the GH plugin Firefly, but Firefly has too many features I don't need, so I developed NeosAcoustic.
Notes:
Audio capture requires enabling the system's microphone recording function.
For installation, place the entire folder containing the library files (NAudio.Core.dll, NAudio.dll, NAudio.Wasapi.dll, NeosAcoustic.gha) in C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Roaming\Grasshopper\Libraries.
