WASPer_3DP is a Grasshopper plugin for 3D printing using LDM technologies like the WASP40100. It includes components for G-code generation, path optimization, and water need calculations for large-scale, clay-based, and viscous material printing.

What does if offer? 

User-Friendly Components: WASPer_3DP is designed to simplify planar 3D printing for Grasshopper users, even those just starting out. It provides components for generating slicing paths, Marlin G-code, path optimization, and water requirement calculations for clay-based and other viscous materials.

Customizable and Open-Source: The plugin is fully open-source, so users can modify and adapt the components to meet their specific needs, making it a versatile tool for anyone working with Grasshopper and LDM.

WASPer_3DP also offers steady state thermal assessment methods (Still under development and validation)

The section "fields" was developed based on methods taught by Federico Borello founder of Encode during the Pininfarina Academy.

This plugin was developed with learnings from the book "Advanced 3D Printing with Grasshopper" by Diego Garcia Cuevas and Gianluca Pugliese and from the course "Grasshopper G-code for 3D printing" by controlmad and taught by Diego Garcia.
