In this tutorial, we discuss some tips and tricks using blocks in Rhino to speed up your design workflow and to be able to test different design variations in NO time
• Why to use blocks in Rhino?
1- To save time in adjusting repetitive objects
2- Be able to test design variation easily by just replacing blocks
3- Reduce the file size
• Commands to test design variation. 1min
1- “SelBlockInstanceNamed” to select all similar blocks you want to replace
2- “Replaceblock” to replace the blocks you want
3- “Scale 1-D” to create some size variation with the same block instead of creating custom blocks for each size, this makes it easier to edit
